Your
trip includes:
•Ten nights accommodation at Montfaucon, double occupancy, with
en suite bath. Rooms are assigned upon receipt of registration form and
deposit.
•Daily painting excursions with individualized instruction by Julie
Houck

to painting sites
•Unlimited use of the painting studio

breakfasts, 9 dinners with wine & aperitifs
•Pick-up and drop-off at Toulouse Airport. Please check with Julie

Refund Policy
All cancellations must be in writing. There is no refund for partial or
unused land arrangements.
Payment Plan
$500 deposit required per person. Remaining balance is due no later than
February 10, 2011. Payment in full is due if reservation is made after
February 10, 2011.

The Dynamics of Light-Filled Landscape
Painting
Capturing
the beauty of a landscape lies primarily in the ability to portray the
light relationships one sees. This course will cover the basic principles
of light, how to determine the color of light, and how to create the movement
of light on the canvas using analogous and split complement colors to
illustrate color, value and light relationships.
Course emphasis is on how to develop form and perspective in the landscape through the use of light and color, fine tuning one's visual observation skills and using the fundamental components of composition, developing depth, aerial perspective, light and shade, and form in the landscape.
We will paint en plein air at a different location on Maui each day. 9am-4pm.
Enrollment limited to 10 participants.
